Fig Chutney recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup of dried figs.
1 teaspoon of instant minced onion.
¼ cup of brown sugar.
½ cup of cider vinegar.
8 oz crushed pineapple undrained.
½ teaspoon of ground ginger.
Pinch of garlic powder.
Pinch of ground cinnamon.
Pinch of cayenne.
Pinch of ground cloves.

Preparation Instructions:

Cut the stems away from the figs and chop finely.

In a pan, combine the figs and all the remaining ingredients.

Simmer for 30 minutes, uncovered making sure to stir occasionally.

Refrigerate overnight.
